7 Mozart Piano Sonatas Nos 12, 16, 17, and Rondo K.386, Eileen Joyce
- Mozart Piano Sonata No.12 in F major K.332, Romance in A flat major, K Anh. 205, Piano Sonata No.16 in C major K.545, Allemande and Courante from K. 399/385I, Piano Sonata No.17 in D major K.576, Rondo K.386 for Piano and Orchestra
- Eileen Joyce, piano solo, and with orchestra conducted by Clarence Raybould in the Rondo
- The recording of these pieces seems to have been done with the microphone close to the piano so that we get a very smooth sound which enhances the pianist's delicate touch. The Rondo was reconstructed from the two available sheets of the score in 1936 by Alfred Einstein, since then, further material has come to light and a revised score has been recorded by Murray Perahia and Malcolm Bilson.
